Categorize unlinked pull requests with AI

Earlier this year, we introduced AI categorization for issues, followed by AI matching of pull requests to issues. Now, AI categorization also handles pull requests that aren’t linked to any issue.

If you’re tracking engineering investments in Swarmia, you’ll know that some work, like small fixes, refactors, or one-off changes, never makes it into an issue. Previously, those pull requests would show up as uncategorized and require manual sorting or comprehensive rules. Now, Swarmia uses your category descriptions to categorize them automatically.

If you haven’t turned on AI categorization for any of your breakdowns yet, the next time you toggle it on, pull request categorization will be enabled automatically.

If you already have AI categorization on, find the advanced options in your breakdown settings to turn on pull request categorization too.
