Visualize activity in focus summary

The focus summary in Swarmia helps you understand where your teams are spending their time. Now, you can drill down even further to see how that work actually unfolded across commits, pull requests, and comments with the activity timeline.

activity timeline

Previously, the activity timeline was available when looking at individual issues or initiatives. With this update, you can use it on any grouping of issues in the focus summary, whether that’s all the work for a team, a specific investment category, or an initiative.

This makes it easier to:

  • Spot the sequence of work across a team’s biggest investments
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, or long-running threads of activity
  • Understand how effort was distributed over time, not just in total

To try it out, navigate to focus summary and look for the new dropdown filter next to the timeframe selector. Switch from focus (the default) to activity to see the timeline. From there, you can choose to group activity daily, weekly, or monthly to match the level of detail you need.
